    Putting Our Local MP Through His Paces

    Firstly Happy New year to you all.

     

    I had a good chat with Jason Mccartney our local MP this afternoon about the nations health and a verybig bug bea of mine VAT on gym memberships!! GRRRR! 

    Jason is a genuinely nice guy I have to say and hopefully we will be seeing him around here a bit more because I will be putting him through his paces with some Personal Training to help educate him more on diet and exercsise. Although it does sound like he has a good base fitness level already, so be sure to say hello when you see him arond and give him some of that Warehouse Gym hospitality we are famous for!

    You found it congratulations, well I dont suppose it was that heard really was it? OK guys here we go then, if you want a free personal training session, diet profile and body composition test with me all you have to do is simply comment on this blog entry and leave your name there thats it!     New Testing Results

    Ok the results are in again for Charles Dixon. During a 6 week personal training programme we test once a week at the same time of day under the exact same conditions, this allows us to see exactly what is going on in the body and how it is reacting to the changes in diet and exercise. Any good personal trainer knows you wont get it right first time all the time, and what works for one person wont work for another so regular fitness testing is an excellent way to adapt to any sticky situations that may arise. So here are Charles' latest results.........

    A further fat loss of just over 4lb! which is now a total of just over 17lb fat loss by the middle of week 5.


    Muscle mass has just risen by 0.2lb which is a muscle mass gain of just under 3lb since the start, this is ideal due to the fact that gaining lean muscle and losing fat is very difficult, the most important thing is we dont lose muscle mass while in a calorie deficit.

    Visceral fat rating down by another point and his metabolic age has further reduced by 6 years (the younger the better).

    Again some more good news for Charles which he deserves with the amount of hard work he has put in, the final week is in sight and you will soon be able to see his before and after photos in my personal training testimonials section.

    Week 4 of 6 results

    So Charles Dixon has been doing a six week intensive personal training programme with me, we are now half way through and so far I am impressed with his motivation and he is doing exactly as I ask of him, in and away from the gym including his diet. If you look back on my blog you will see his first week results which I feel were a bit too good to be true but three weeks in we have further fantastic news:

    Original Stats:
    Fat Mass            3st 8.4lb
    Muscle Mass    8st 12lb

    Today's Stats:
    Fat Mass            2st 9.6lb
    Muscle Mass    9st 0.6lb

    His metabolic age has reduced by 10 years! and we have also reduced his visceral fat rating by 2 points.

    I have to say yet again what a great job he is doing and we are only half way! most people including myself would be happy with these kind of results in six weeks. Keep up the good work and lets see what we can achieve.

    First Weeks Results

    Well we have just tested Charles for the results of his first weeks personal training with me. I have to be honest even I am suprised at the results we had this morning, we do need to take into account some variations in testing i.e. hydration levels etc etc but on the main all testing is done at the same time of day and when the body is in a similar state. Here are the main factors of what we found:

    Body fat reduction of 7lb
    Muscle mass gain of 5lb
    Total Body Water up   2lb
    Metabolic Age reduced by 2 years

    These tests are carried on TANITA commercial body composition scales and as I say there may be some variations in results as nothing is 100% but to lose half a stone in fat in 7 days! Great work Charles keep it up

    Go For It Charles!

    Charles Dixon of the very very moreish Dixons ice creams starts his 6 weeks intensive personal training at 6am tomorrow morning. I will keep you updated on his progress over the coming weeks, and we will have his before and after photos at the end of it.

    Personal Training Works

    Just finished a course of fourteen training sessions with Oliver a motocross competitor who wanted to be fitter, lighter and stronger. Did he do it? of course he did in fact he did fantastic, I will post up his results on the personal training section later in the week. You always get great job satisfaction when you see people achieving results after they have listened to the advice you have given them.
