    FAQ For Ultrasonic Lipo

    I have been getting quite a few emails asking alot of questions so thought it may be best to put the most common ones up here for all to see. If you have any questions that are not here then please feel free to email me martine@warehousefit.com

    And dont forget to book your free place on the 26th of February for our launch even if you jut want a few glasses of bubbly! 

    How soon will I see results?
    Often results are visible with the first session but will improve further over the course of 4 treatments. Our trained technicians will assess the final result 3 weeks after completing the six sessions. Maximum results require at least 6 to 20 treatment sessions per area.


    Will the effect be long-lasting?
    The fat cells treated with Lipo will not return or re-grow, so that is a permanent effect. However, the length of time that the body shaping will last for is really in your hands.
    How much you eat and how much exercise you take will also affect your long-term body shape. So if you take in more calories than you use, you weight and fat will increase and the permanent removal of fat cells from your treatment will be hidden by your weight gain.


    What about future weight gain with fat moving to other areas?
    This is a common misunderstanding. Following Lipo, should you experience weight gain or loss, it will tend to be proportionately distributed over your entire body. Once you have fat removed it is gone. Assuming a healthy lifestyle of proper diet and exercise, it will not return.


    Are there any side effects?
    Ultrasonic Lipo is an extremely safe treatment as it is non-surgical and non-invasive.


    Is there any downtime?None. You can return to work immediately after Lipo.


    What happens after treatment?
    You will need to avoid alcohol for 4 days after each treatment because your liver will be busy processing the fat that has been broken down by the Lipo therapy. Also try to drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated.

    How is the Procedure of Ultrasonic Liposuction Done?                       

    The technician focuses a round ultrasonic amplifier around the area being treated which delivers ultrasonic energy to subcutaneous fat    

     During the procedure the ultrasonic waves bursts the fat cells membranes and so effectively 'melts' the fat.  The contents pass through the lymphatic system and then leave the body through the liver within 2 to 3 weeks after the procedure.

    A little more info on what Ultrasonic Lipo is and what offers are available to you pre launch.

    So ultrasonic lipo what is it? You have heard of lipo suction where you are put under anesthetic small cuts are made in your skin and a metal rod is inserted under the skin to suck out fat cells for good. Ultrasonic lipo works in the same way by removing the cells but without putting you to sleep, or making cuts in your skin or by sucking them out it is non invasive and pain free! Not only this ultrasonic lipo is a fraction of the cost and its now on your doorstep in YORKSHIRE!

    By attaching the ultrasonic lipo pads to your designated area the pain free ultrasonic waves melt way the fat cells for good they will then be sent into your lymphatic system and flushed away, simple as that. As you know I am a huge advocate of there is no quick fix and I am still and advocate of that. The thing with ultrasonic lipo which is the same as lipo suction is you must continue exercising and eating a balanced diet or the remaining fat cells will grow larger again or your body will want to store fat elsewhere.     I have to say with my background, when my partner Martine decided to test this machine I said "yeh yeh do what you like just don't waste too much money" I was very sceptical, two weeks later after two sessions I decided to jump her on our fat measuring scales and low and behold she had lost two pound of fat now this may not sound a lot but losing two pound of fat off 30 pound of fat is a lot in two weeks and I had to say her body shape had changed! I was shocked I really was so after a lot of investigation and testing we have deemed ultrasonic lipo good enough to be used at Warehouse Gym to make you achieving your goals that bit easier. People who know me know I will only recommend something I deem good enough for myself and I have to say Warehouse Ultrasonic Lipo definitely gets my vote.

    Ultrasonic Liposuction means:

    "figure correction by utilising high-frequency ultrasonic waves"

    We are all aware of the benefits of a good diet and exercise

    Ultrasonic Liposuction enhances these benefits even further

    Ultrasonic Liposuction is a highly effective way to give your figure a helping hand, by helping mobilise stubborn pockets of fat, so used alongside diet and exercise you will be hitting it from both angles

    Ultrasonic Liposuction is pain free, non-surgical / non-invasive. 

    The results of surgical and ultrasonic liposuction are practically the same.  However, with ultrasonic, one can avoid the surgical procedure and its consequences - ie: general anaesthesia, cutting & scarring, pain and overall health risks.  Eating correctly and exercise will decrease fat cells in size; although the size of the fat cells is decreased the quantity remains the same.  With Ultrasonic Liposuction the reduced fat cells are then permanently destroyed. One procedure can remove up to a pound of fat or 1.5 inches of the area being treated. 

    Ultrasonic Liposuction has the ability to treat areas that have denser fat deposits and to remove larger volumes of fat at one time.  It also has the added advantage of tightening the skin during the process 

     

    How is the Procedure of Ultrasonic Liposuction Done?

    Noticeable results in problem areas can be seen in 4 - 6 sessions.  In between sessions you should follow a healthy diet recommended by your trainer, drink plenty of mineral, or spring water, avoid alcohol for 4 days after treatment and get plenty of exercise to encourage lymph flow, which supports the removal of fat cells from the body.

    For 3 months after the procedure the problem zone continues decreasing without any further assistance.                                                           

    How Many Sessions are Required?

    The number of sessions all depends on how many inches you want to loose.  A course is usually between minimum 6 to maximum 20 sessions in any one area.

    The effectiveness of Ultrasonic Liposuction can be enhanced by additional procedures such as heat wraps and massage if you so desire. 

    You will certainly have to commit to diet and lifestyle changes.  If you don't you will inevitably gain more weight; the main problem is it will just show up in another area.

    1 Day Practical Workshop For Runners

    ProSportPhysiotherapy have teamed up with Andy Peacock, resident Personal Trainer to Fitness TV and Warehouse Gym to offer the first of its kind 1 day workshop on Athletic Development for Endurance and Track Athletes on the 2nd of January, 9am to 4pm @ Warehouse Gym, Honley, Huddersfield!

    This course is one of a kind and is based on hours of research and experience in training and rehabilitating both elite and recreational athletes correctly. This course is a 90% practical hands-on course with 10% theory. The course itinerary is:

    -Self Administrated Soft Tissue Mobilisation - This section will take you through how to break up scar tissue and adhesions using everyday easy to use objects. This is the next best thing to having a personal massage therapist with you every minute of the day!

    -Ground Breaking Flexibility - This section will show you how to increase your flexibility within 20 seconds. This is not your static stretching routine which you need to do for weeks, you will see results instantly or else you are not doing this procedure correctly! This is the routine used by up to 54 Olympic medialists including Haile Gebrselassie.

    -Mobility Work - This section will be what's missing from 99% of runners programs. This part puts all the above sections together to use that new freedom to improve stride length efficiency and also lung capacity by mobilising specific joints. Lungs are important for distance running! If your ribcage is immobile, then you are not using your lungs to the best of their ability. This section will correct this...

    -Muscle Activation - This section will ensure that muscles are working in the correct order to ensure the most efficient running stride possible with the most efficient energy systems utilisation. Most of your runners will be sat at desks or sleeping in a bed for up to 6 hours before training, how can you expect them to run to the best of their abilities after this? The Muscle Activation section will put this right in minimal time.

    -Core Training - This section will put core training debates to bed once and for all. Our core training prescriptions are evidenced based and we train the core how it is asked to work during running. This section will also explain how prescribing sit-ups can be detrimental to your runner's performance and what exercises you should be prescribing!

    -Strength Training - Strength training is vital for all athletes no matter what their event. Correct prescription of strength training programs can be the difference to beating that personal best. We will show you how to train movements rather than muscles and perform a safe and structured program with efficient technique that is easy to coach and correct for all your athletes.

    -Nutrition/Recovery - This section will guide you on appropriate nutrition and recovery during all parts of the day. This will be an easy to use guide that can be implemented immediately.

    -Periodisation - This section will teach you how to put everything you have learned into a systematic and structured plan for a week, month and year and how to manipulate variables to ensure you peak at the right time for a race or event.

    The cost of this 1 day course is £100 which is consistent with the price for a 1 day course throughout the spectrum of Physiotherapy and Strength and Conditioning coaching clinics. Places are limited to 18 places as we already have huge interest from Holmfirth Harriers. This course fee will include a light lunch, refreshments, a course manual and 1 month's free online support whereby for a month after the course, the coach will be able to have online support of the course tutors for any kinks or follow up questions to ensure they are able to implement these methods seamlessly with their athletes. This is the kind of course that you will be able to put into practice the very next day and we want to help you achieve this to the best of your ability. A certificate of attendance can also be arranged for those coaches wishing to claim back the cost of the course via various routes of funding.

    Farnley Fun Run

    One of our members Rupert Roberts took pleace in the Farnley fun run and was kind enough to write a little bit about it for us:

    It was 4.4k or 2.8 miles and I did it in 19:32, the winner was one of the harriers who did it in 15:09. I'd like to thank everyone who helped to support me with advice and sponsorship. I managed to raise £174.40 for kirkwood hospice a charity close to many people's hearts locally. It's also inspired me to start running more often and take part in similar events. It took place 12th September and this was it's first year, there are plans for it to be a yearly event, thanks must go to Samantha Kaye who organised the event.  They've got a website by the way. www.farnleyfunrun.co.uk

    Gym Christmas Do!!

    The Warehouse Gym Christmas do's are becoming a bit of a talking point now. I'm not quite sure if that's a good thing or not?! but still we will soldier on and have another one on Saturday 11th December.

    So this year it will be at TIGER TIGER in Leeds, a coach will pick us up at 5pm from the gym and drop us off for a champagne reception at TIGER TIGER where we will have a 3 course meal, maybe a drink or 10, possibly some lewd behaviour from the staff and then the coach will return for us at around 2am and drop us back off in Huddersfield town centre.

    If you would like to go the tickets will be £56 this includes your meal and travel, all you need to do is pay your £10 deposit at reception and then the rest of the balance 3 weeks prior to us going. If you want to know why people always talk about these events put your name down and go you wont be dissapointed.

    Charity Race Night

    Dont forget everyone the gym race night for the charity REGAIN is on June 5th. All tickets are £4 with food included, you can still buy a horse for £3 or just bet for £1 on the night. Your support would be much appreciated. All money goes towards the Snowdonia Challenge which I am doing on June 12th.
