In February Martin asked me to help him trim down for his 40th birthday which was at the beginning of September. Martin has exercised all his life and has an active job but seemed to have hit a rut with his diet and exercise.
We agreed to get him kick started with 10 personal training sessions where we would re-ignite his passion for exercise and have him starting from scratch with correct exercise technique. We also set Martin on a healthy eating regime not a diet.
His regime still involved treats at a weekend but 80% of the time he would eat correctly and regularly. After the 10 training sessions I gave Martin a plan of 3-4 exercise sessions a week of no more then an hour maximum, and he would keep to this for 5months. After the 5 months expired we embarked on a 6 week training regime that would lead him up to his birthday.
