Will I be shown how to use the gym equipment?
Yes every member is given a programme specific to the individual, we will sit down and chat with you about your exercise past, what you do now and ask if you have any injuries or illnesses we need to be aware of. We then devise a programme specific to your needs, write it all out on a programme card and show you the exercises on every piece of equipment you will be using ensuring you are happy.

What if I forget my programme?
We expect from time to time you won't remember everything. That's why we are here to help as much as possible. If you forget just ask and we will be more then happy to assist you.

Will the gym be staffed at all time?
Yes there will always be an instructor in the gym.

Are there changing facilities in the gym?
Yes we have changing facilities along with showers.

Is there a locker room?
Yes we have lockers which are completely free to use.

Does the gym have a sauna?
Yes we have single sex saunas at no extra cost.

Will personal training be available?
Yes we have a variety of trainers to suit every individual who also charge varying amounts to suit any budget.

What is the minimum age to join the gym?
The minimum age to use the gym unsupervised is 16. We do have family fitness available all day every weekend and between the hours of 12pm and 2pm on school holidays. Family fitness is where 12-15 year olds can use the gym as long as they are supervised by an accompanying adult.

Do you provide massage?
Yes we have an onsite massage room. Holistic Works is run by the excellent Darren Earnshaw.

Can I trial the gym before joining?
Yes we always offer a free day pass to test the facility and level of service first. Look out for our free weeks trial that we do offer from time to time.

What happens if I want to cancel my membership?
To cancel a membership that is no longer contracted all we ask for is 30 days notice in writing.

Can I have payment holidays?
Yes any member can have payment holidays free of charge. Payment holidays are per calender month and we do require prior written notice for them to be implemented.
